I love Mondays. Join us, join in and you will too.
Every Monday is a chance to rejuvenate our bodies with the natural healing powers of fruit and vegetables. Some of us “juice” the day away. Other juice and crunch and others take a very gourmet approach to the day. (Thanks to TheCheapGourmet.com for creating a very tasty menu for us!)
Why do we do this? Some of our reasons are almost technical.
For example, according to Dr. Theodore A. Baroody, author, Alkalize or Die, fruit and vegetables create “alkaline-forming” reactions in our bodies which increase our energy. On the flip side, acid-forming foods, most other foods, produce a “decreased ability to energy the system.”
Bottom line: Alkaline foods give us energy and Acid foods take it away. If we want more energy we need to UP our consumption.
Another great reason for a day of fruit and veggies is to start nibbling away at and getting rid of BOB. B.O.B stands for “Belly Over Belt” and is usually and indicator of “Toxic Belly Fat Syndrome” and that bad life-style diseases are on the way if we don’t turn them away …
Fruit and Veggie Day is an easy opportunity to alkalize our bods and start getting rid of BOB. In a couple weeks you will notice that you are eating and craving more raw foods during the rest of the week and that you’ve lost a few lbs without even trying. (I lost 7 bls in the past 5 weeks!)

Now are you ready to hear something incredible, but true? I had my day planned and it is packed! So what happened this morning … my neighbor’s dog “Juice” got loose. He is a five month old Lab/Rot puppy , full of bounding, boundless energy. Ei-Yi-Yi!
I don’t know where he lives, nor do I have their phone number so I put up a sign in my yard that says “I have your Juice! Call me!”

Enjoy your day! Post and let us know what you’re doing and how you are feeling. We are here to support you!
