According to Suzanne Zoglio, PH.D., author of Recharge in Minutes, a simple 5 minute call in the afternoon can pull you out of that midday energy slump.
Why? My take is that sharing energy builds energy – the ol’ 1+1 = 3.
Today I will call Reeny and thank her for taking me in and all about town during my cousin’s wedding last weekend. Who will I call tomorrow? Raises my energy just thinking about it!

Cheering someone else on and up always makes me feel better. Who can you call right now? Who could use a joke, some encouragement and affection? Whoever came to mind first, that’s who you call. Lucky them.
I consider having energy in the afternoon an “Afternoon Delight.” Do you know what I mean?
Below is my afternoon “Boost” recipe. I take it around 2:00 p.m. to avoid the afternoon slump.
1000 mg Vitamin C
Plus a handful of Walnuts & Almonds
And a tall glass of Water
You are hydrating with the water (not coffee or cola or tea – H20). The Vitamin C boostsyour energy per Dr. James Wilson, the expert of adrenal fatigue recovery, and those nuts are a heart healthy snack to help your jaws release tension and fill you up, not out.
