Break Your Fast With Blueberries!

Blueberries … just one serving of fresh or frozen blueberries provides as many antioxidants as five servings of carrots, apples, broccoli or squash. And, according to Susan Smith Jones they are “packed with anthocyanins which appear to be one of the most potent antidotes to oxidate stress, a process that ages you.”

So … eat up! Start with breakfast and my Blueberry Oatmeal Energize!

Psst. Feel like a piece of burnt toast throughout the day? Or maybe your brains feel like scrambled eggs? You might be suffering from adrenal fatigue. Take our free Fatigue Questionnaire at http://fatiguebegone.com/tired_woman_quiz.htm to discover the true causes of fatigue.

Make that call – Taking action is the ultimate energy boost!

Who do you know could be helping you feel GREAT but, for whatever reason, you keep putting off making that call and scheduling that appointment?

I’ll share! For me it was the trainer at my gym.

For the past year I have duly noted the offer of a “Free Assessment” and 3 free training appointments. Instead of taking advantage of this fabulous offer I have been p-r-o-c-r-a-s-t-i-n-a-t-i-n-g.

One of my favorite excuses is that I am not in good enough shape. This is like not hiring a “Merry Maid” because the house isn’t clean enough. (I have a girlfriend doing THAT one!) Another is that the trainers are too young and won’t be able to relate to me. (Like I’m ancient?! Where did that come from!)

Enough of the excuses! 5 minutes ago I marched into my office and made that call. My first appointment is next Tuesday at 6:00 a.m. with Troy. Troy — that’s my father’s name — must be a good sign! And, you know what? I got such a rush of energy when I hung up that phone. Positive action is the ultimate energy boost!

So my friend – your turn. Take time now – today – to make your call for help. You will be so happy you did!

What’s bugging you?

Me – I have a list. Most of the things on it are ALMOST, but not quite done.

So, guess what? I just read an article that connected the dots between fatigue and dangling “to dos” aka the pebble in the shoe that makes walking miserable!

Now, if I could just find where I filed it I would tell you exactly what it said and have one less incomplete dancing in my mind. Guess I will have to settle for letting go. This is, after all, one form of completion.

What can you complete or erase from your mind or to do list today? Do it.

Do the right thing.

I am tired today! Last night I did all the things I tell others not to do.

1. Hopped on the computer at 8:30 and starting working on a project. Got me all excited and wired.

2. At 9:30 I called mom and that conversation got my head flipping and flopping as only a phone call with family can. The work and this call pumped me up and into that “2ND Wind.”

2. Went to bed at 11:00 fussing about having to get up at 4:30.

3. Guess what? My mind wouldn’t turn off. Thinking about work, family and early rising; early rising, family and work … End result, I slept poorly and I am tired today!

The great thing is that I can start my day over anything. For now I will just keep on keeping on, I will pick a couple projects that I can easily accomplish. Moral Boost = Energy Boost.

Then I will get back on track. Tonight, after 8:00 p.m., OFF go my electronic devises a (computers, telephone and TV.) I will be-in-bed at 9:00 p.m. with an inspirational read and maybe a little company?

Whatever happens rest assured that I will be back on track and re-Energized in the morn. How about you? What is your plan?

Reflexology hits the spot.

Reflexology is a massage therapy. It presses “reflex” points on the feet, or hands, to release pent up energies and dis-eases in the body.

Rub along the side of your foot – from the big toe to your heal to release aches, pains and stiffness in your spine.

Rub the pad of your feet to clear up your lungs — the ball of your feet to stimulate your thyroid gland.

And the list goes on … This is a fascinating and easy-does-it way to feel better, uncover blocks and self-health yourself …

You can read up and practice what you learn with these excellent books on Reflexology. Or, you can learn “hands on” a.k.a. via a therapeutic massage at your local massage therapy school (where the price is right!)
